Basketball Recap: Stoughton Extends Home Winning Streak to 12

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stoughton). They took down the Reedsburg Beavers 81-62 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Stoughton's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Reedsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Stoughton will take on Portage in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Reedsburg and Edgewood will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Edgewood has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 221 points over their last three contests.
