Baseball Recap: Harding Comes Up Short

Harding lost against Madison back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Skippers came up short against the Blue Streaks, falling 18-3. The Skippers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Madison, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Harding will host Mathews at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Skippers are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Madison, they will head out to face off against Conneaut at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.86 runs per game on average), something the Blue Streaks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
