Putnam City West proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Norman Tigers by a goal, winning 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Putnam City West is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those nine games. As for Norman, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-2.
