Basketball Recap: Castle Park Takes a Loss

Castle Park was the 69-38 winner over Holtville when they last played one another back in December of 2014, but their luck changed this time around. The Castle Park Trojans took a 43-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holtville Vikings. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Castle Park's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Holtville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Castle Park will take on Mar Vista in a tournament on Friday. As for Holtville, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Chula Vista at 4:30 p.m. on January 11, 2025.
