Football Game Preview: Lyman Greyhounds vs. Lake Mary Rams

The Lyman Greyhounds will face off against the Lake Mary Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Lyman's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Lake Mary has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Lyman is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Crooms Academy, posting a 36-0 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Greyhounds considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.

The critical scores for Lyman came from NORAH GARRAUGHTY, ALEXA AQUINO, Jade Perez, Samantha Proulx, and TYUANA JACKSON.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Lake Mary's offense. They took a hard 19-0 fall against Lake Howell on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Silverhawks are ranked 64th).

Lyman has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.3 points on average over those games. As for Lake Mary, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
