Baseball Recap: Rolling Hills Prep Triumphs

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Wednesday as neither Rolling Hills Prep nor Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Huskies never let the Seawolves get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Seawolves: they've now won four in a row.

Matthew Moyer made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Those 14 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Rolling Hills Prep's win bumped their record up to 14-8-1. As for Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Rolling Hills Prep nor Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica have any future games scheduled.
