Basketball Recap: Glide Sets Scoring Season-High Against Douglas

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glide). They blew past the Douglas Trojans, posting a 48-13 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory was the third in a row for Glide, bringing their record for this year to 5-10. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for Douglas, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.

Glide and Douglas could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Glide (ranked 202nd) will meet Coquille (ranked 21st) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Douglas will face off against Sutherlin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 181 places (241 vs. 60).
