Baseball Recap: Arizona Lutheran Academy Falls to Chino Valley in First Game of Season

Arizona Lutheran Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Chino Valley Cougars by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday.

Aiden Frear was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Nash Bielke, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arizona Lutheran Academy will venture away from home to take on Odyssey Institute at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chino Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Shadow Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
