Rolling Meadows and Prospect are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Mustangs will square off against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rolling Meadows is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Rolling Meadows came up short against Barrington and fell 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by exactly three points. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Prospect also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Palatine by a score of 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16.

Prospect's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Rolling Meadows, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Rolling Meadows beat Prospect 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
