Baseball Recap: Allentown Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Allentown Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northampton Konkrete Kids. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 25-3 to the Konkrete Kids when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Allentown Central Catholic saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Grigoli, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-5. As for Northampton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Coming up, Allentown Central Catholic will welcome William Allen at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northampton, they will head out to take on Whitehall at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Zephyrs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Konkrete Kids surely won't give up without a fight.
