Basketball Recap: Southwest Gets the Win

Southwest's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 1-0 victory over the Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles. The one-point effort marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Southwest now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwest will welcome Western Hills at 5:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastern Hills at 6:00 p.m. on January 10th.
