Flag Football Recap: Yuba City Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Yuba City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 58-7 loss at the hands of the Del Campo Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Honkers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 533rd, while the Cougars are ranked 97th).

Yuba City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Del Campo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Yuba City is set to take on their familiar foe River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Del Campo will challenge rival Twelve Bridges at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cougars 14.2, the Raging Rhinos 11.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
