Basketball Game Preview: Yoncalla Eagles vs. Alsea Wolverines

The Yoncalla Eagles will wrap up 2025 with a road trip to face off against the Alsea Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Yoncalla's tournament run continued when they took on Glide on Saturday. The Eagles took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 54-20. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Alsea, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They snuck past Cove with a 43-39 win on Saturday.

Yoncalla's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Alsea, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Yoncalla came out on top in a nail-biter against Alsea in their previous matchup back in December of 2016, sneaking past 32-29. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
