They will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Castle View Sabercats at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fruita Monument came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 49-8 defeat at the hands of Montrose. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Castle View and Legend had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Sabercats took a blow against the Titans on Friday, falling 55-13. The Sabercats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-6.

The loss snapped Fruita Monument's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record. As for Castle View, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Things could have been worse for Fruita Monument, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 33-16 loss to Castle View when the teams last played back in October of 2024.
