Volleyball Recap: New Miami Takes a Loss

New Miami was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Legacy Christian Academy Knights. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

New Miami took Legacy Christian Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-23, 25-12, 20-25, 15-8.

New Miami's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Legacy Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

New Miami has already played their next match (against Purcell Marian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Varsity Opponent on the 28th.
