Baseball Recap: Culpeper County Takes a Loss

Culpeper County started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Goochland. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tyrus Nobbs made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kahner Moss, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Culpeper County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Goochland, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Culpeper County will host Eastern View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Culpeper County their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Goochland, they will face off against William Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
