Softball Recap: Willow Comes Up Short

Willow lost to Academy of Our Lady on March 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions came up short against the Penguins, falling 17-3. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willow's record now sits at 8-10-1. As for Academy of Our Lady, their win bumped their record up to 6-16.

Coming up, Willow will take on St. Mary's Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Academy of Our Lady, they will challenge Slidell at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
