Volleyball Recap: Western Tech & Environmental Science Comes Up Short

Western Tech & Environmental Science was the 3-1 winner over Franklin when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolverines took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians on Friday.

Despite the loss, Western Tech & Environmental Science still got an impressive performance from Sarah Ma, who had 24 digs and two aces. Mercy Laihnei was another key player, getting nine digs and one assist.

Western Tech & Environmental Science's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Franklin, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Western Tech & Environmental Science wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Loch Raven on the 29th. As for Franklin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Centennial on the 31st.
