Basketball Recap: Mark Keppel Takes a Loss

Mark Keppel and Aquinas squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mark Keppel had to settle for second. They lost 62-38 to the Aquinas Falcons. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Aztecs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Falcons are ranked 373rd).

Mark Keppel's defeat dropped their record down to 26-6. As for Aquinas, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Mark Keppel nor Aquinas have any future games scheduled.
