Harris County and Pace Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Harris County had to settle for second. They fell 54-44 to the Pace Academy Knights.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ja'Niya Broome, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Broome has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Allana Coulter, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 17 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Harris County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 26 consecutive games.

Leading Pace Academy to victory were Lawson Monroe and Ryan Wrigley. Monroe dropped a double-double with 18 points and 17 boards, while Wrigley on her way to 22 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. That's the most boards Monroe has posted since back in January of 2024.

Harris County's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Pace Academy, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.
