Basketball Game Preview: Coral Shores Hurricanes vs. Key West Conchs

The Coral Shores Hurricanes are taking a road trip to square off against the Key West Conchs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coral Shores is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Coral Shores had to suffer through a 71-17 loss at the hands of Goleman. The matchup marked the Hurricanes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Key West). They came out on top against Manatee by a score of 84-77 on Saturday.

Coral Shores better keep an eye on James Osborne. He was instrumental in Key West's win, dropping a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. Osborne's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Kameron Roberts was another key player, going 6 for 12 on his way to 16 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Key West was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Coral Shores' loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Key West, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coral Shores came up short against Key West in their previous matchup back in January, falling 60-49. Can Coral Shores avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
