Elder extended the longest winning streak in Greater Catholic - South this week by beating La Salle, 34-28. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Panthers.

Archbishop Moeller and Trinity played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Archbishop Moeller eventually emerging with a 45-42 victory.

St. Xavier's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Matthew Mooney threw for 15 and one touchdown and Trevor Brinkmann had 22 yards receiving. On the ground CJ Hilliard chipped in 113 yards. Joey Arbino helped St. Xavier's passing attack out by catching one ball for 12 yards.

St. Xavier's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bombers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nicholas Tensing has thrown for 1907 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, while Kevin Milligan has 59 catches for 546 yards. Hilliard leads the league in rushing with 626 yards.

Going into this week's game against Colerain, the Bombers' Tensing needs 93 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.

The Fighting Crusaders led Greater Catholic - South in scoring this week after putting up 45 points on the Shamrocks.
