United was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Somerset Eagles.

Somerset's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emily Rush led the charge by getting four digs and three aces. Rush is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted nine or more in the last 26 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Thressa Ledney, who had five aces.
United's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Somerset, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
