Soccer Recap: North Posey Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, North Posey was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Vincennes Rivet Patriots finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Saturday. North Posey had to tread lightly for part of the matchup as Philipp Schneeweiss and Brayden Compton were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

North Posey's goal came courtesy of Ethan Ashby, who's now up to nine this season.

With that draw, North Posey's record moves to 5-5-1. Meanwhile, Vincennes Rivet's record is now 8-4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. North Posey will head out to challenge Princeton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Vincennes Rivet, they will venture away from home to square off against South Knox at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
