Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Princeton). They really took it to the Bluefield Beavers for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-8 win. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Asia Collins had an outrageously good game as she went 5 for 12 en route to 18 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Kalee Wright was another key player, putting up 12 points.
Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Bluefield, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
When Princeton and Bluefield next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Princeton will face off against Wayne and their four-game winning streak at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Princeton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season. Similarly, Bluefield will try to stop Mingo Central's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
