Volleyball Recap: North Duplin's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Spring Creek last Wednesday, North Duplin came back down to earth. The Rebels came up short against the East Duplin Panthers on Monday, falling 3-0. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-14.

Maggie Brown paced North Duplin's offense, picking up two kills. Brown got some help from Lilly Fulghum and her three assists. Finally, Abigeal Norris kept North Duplin's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Duplin fell to 2-1. As for East Duplin, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

North Duplin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against James Kenan on the 20th. As for East Duplin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Richlands on the 19th.
