After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harbor Teacher, George Washington Prep was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Locke Saints. This was payback for the Generals, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

George Washington Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Locke, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. George Washington Prep is set to face off against their familiar foe Crenshaw at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Locke will challenge rival Dorsey at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
