Volleyball Recap: River Falls Beats Woodbury for Their Fourth Straight Win

River Falls waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Woodbury Royals by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

River Falls was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 17-25, 25-18.

Adia Johnson was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had eight aces and six digs. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2024.

Johnson wasn't the only good server: River Falls was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matchups.

River Falls' victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Woodbury, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, River Falls will welcome Chippewa Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodbury, they will head out to face off against Academy of Holy Angels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
