Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Handley). Everything went their way against the Anniston Bulldogs on Thursday as they made off with a 22-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

Zae Dunson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Dunson was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Brody Esttes was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Handley's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-6 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Pike, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Handley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .677. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Handley's record is now 9-6. As for Anniston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Handley beat the Bulldogs by a score of 16-4 later that day.
