Calhoun had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the East Coweta Indians.

Gracison Saylors paced Calhoun's offense, picking up 19 kills. Saylors got some help from Cate Rutland and her 18 assists. Lilly Hayward controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Calhoun's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for East Coweta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Calhoun didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Allatoona on the 14th. As for East Coweta, they will take on Norcross at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
