Mullen won the last time they faced Rangeview, and things went their way on Friday too. The Mullen Mustangs breezed by the Rangeview Raiders to the tune of 41-6. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 21 points or more this season.

Mullen was led to victory by Dante Dupuch and Koa Dietrich. Dupuch rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns, while Dietrich threw for 233 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. Dupuch is becoming a predictor of Mullen's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 2-5 when he doesn't). 95 of Dietrich's passing yards were hauled in by Mason Bonner, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Mullen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 207 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rangeview only rushed for 68.

Mullen's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. Troy Mailo was especially locked on to Rangeview's QB and sacked him 2.5 times.

The win made it two in a row for Mullen and bumps their season record up to 4-6. As for Rangeview, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6.

Mullen will venture away from home to challenge Fossil Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fossil Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 31.1 points per game this season. Rangeview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
