Baseball Recap: St. Henry Comes Up Short

If St. Henry was feeling good fresh off their 12-5 takedown of Pikeville on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lawrenceburg Tigers on Saturday. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

St. Henry has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-21 record this season. As for Lawrenceburg, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-12 record.

Looking ahead, St. Henry will be playing at home against Pikeville at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Lawrenceburg, they will challenge Franklin County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
