Softball Recap: Kemper County Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Kemper County's offense. They lost 15-0 to the McLaurin Tigers on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Kemper County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for McLaurin, they moved to 4-9 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kemper County will take on West Lowndes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McLaurin, they will head out to take on Laurel at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Golden Tornadoes at the right time seeing as the Golden Tornadoes are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
