Softball Recap: Summertown Comes Up Short

Summertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Daphne Trojans.

Summertown now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Daphne, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for Daphne, they will venture away from home to square off against Fairhope at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Daphne is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
