Softball Recap: Lake Country Lutheran Comes Up Short

Lake Country Lutheran lost against Waukesha South back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lightning came up short against the Blackshirts, falling 16-3. The Lightning have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Country Lutheran saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kierstyn Black, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Lake Country Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Waukesha South, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Blackshirts beat Lake Country Lutheran by a score of 9-5 later that day.
