Basketball Recap: Derby Comes Up Short

Derby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Oxford Wolverines, falling 82-21. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 78-29 back in January.

Derby's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Oxford, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Derby will venture away from home to challenge Wolcott at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oxford, they will take on Woodland Regional at 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
