After losing to Green Hope the last time they met, Middle Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Middle Creek Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Green Hope Falcons on Friday, sneaking past 6-4.

The team relied heavily on Will Tobin, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Middle Creek's record is now 4-1. As for Green Hope, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middle Creek will host Apex Friendship at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Middle Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Green Hope, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holly Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last five games Green Hope has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
