Football Game Preview: Bainbridge Spartans vs. North Kitsap Vikings + Official Tickets

Bainbridge hasn't had much luck against North Kitsap recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Spartans will venture away from home to take on the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Bainbridge's win against Port Angeles wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans pulled ahead with a 14-13 photo finish over the Roughriders on Friday.

Meanwhile, North Kitsap waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Wolves 24-7.

Bainbridge better focus on containing Cooper Anderson and Kyree McGinty as the pair were huge in North Kitsap's win. Anderson picked up 114 receiving yards and one TD, while McGinty rushed for 62 yards and one score. Those 114 receiving yards gave Anderson a new career-high.

North Kitsap's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Bainbridge, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Bainbridge couldn't quite get it done against North Kitsap when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 14-7. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
