Baseball Recap: Lamar County Bulldogs vs. Red Bay Tigers
Lamar County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Red Bay Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Tuesday.
Ridge Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 18 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
