Martin County West had lost ten straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 1-6 to make it 11. They lost 9-3 to the Cleveland Clippers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Clippers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 on April 8th.

Preston Cepress was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs. Another player making a difference was Jacob Wilmes, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
