Starting off the list is St. Joseph Regional's Lamar Best, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Best threw for 229 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 53 yards.

With the loss, St. Joseph Regional broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2. Best and St. Joseph Regional will square off against Pope John XXIII at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

A Season-Best Performance from Quincy Porter Leads Bergen Catholic over Paramus Catholic

Bergen Catholic was led to victory by Quincy Porter, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Porter picked up 81 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 54 yards.

Paramus Catholic's probably not too fond of Porter given he always seems to get the better of them. Porter picked up 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Paladins duked it out back in October of 2023.
