Basketball Recap: Mansfield Legacy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Mansfield Legacy Broncos came up short against the Walnut Grove Wildcats on Tuesday and fell 75-63.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Walnut Grove to victory, but perhaps none more so than Monta Ellis, who went 8-for-14 en route to 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those 20 points gave Ellis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chase Brooks, who shot 58% from the field to rack up 22 points and five boards.

Mansfield Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Walnut Grove, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Mansfield Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 82-75 loss against Crandall on the 26th. As for Walnut Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-63 victory against Cardinal Ritter College Prep on the 29th.
