Softball Recap: New Albany Eagles vs. Pickerington Central Tigers
New Albany had lost four straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 5-15 to make it five. They took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pickerington Central Tigers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.
Ava Bowersock was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Sarah Liu was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
As for Pickerington Central, their win bumped their record up to 13-10. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
