Baseball Game Preview: Joshua Owls vs. Centennial Spartans

For the second straight game, Joshua will face off against Centennial. The Owls will welcome the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Joshua 3.8, Centennial 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Centennial will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Joshua extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. The Owls walked away with a 6-1 win over the Spartans.

Joshua pushed their record up to 15-7-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Centennial, they moved to 13-8 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
