Volleyball Recap: Salinas Comes Up Short

Salinas lost against Monterey on April 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cowboys came up short against the Dores, falling 3-0.

While Salinas ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-19.

Salinas' loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Monterey, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Salinas will be playing in front of their home fans against Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monterey, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Clovis on the 25th.
