Baseball Recap: East Union Takes a Loss

After flying high against Central Decatur on Thursday, East Union came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils on Friday, falling 13-3. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

East Union's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Martensdale-St. Mary's, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Martensdale-St. Mary's beat East Union by a score of 15-0 later that day.
