Pioneer entered their tilt with McAllen on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

In the three sets Pioneer was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 18-25, 25-11.

Despite the loss, McAllen saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gabriella Saenz had ten digs and three assists.

Pioneer's win bumped their record up to 30-4. As for McAllen, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-14.

Pioneer has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Sharyland on the 14th. As for McAllen, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Vela on the 14th.
