Volleyball Recap: Mitchell's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Mitchell can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against the Unicoi County Blue Devils by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in August.

Mitchell had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-19, 25-8, 25-21.

Mitchell's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Unicoi County, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Mitchell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Hendersonville on the 23rd. Unicoi County has also already played their next contest (against Johnson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
