Broomfield kept a clean sheet against Boulder on Thursday. They skirted past the Panthers 1-0. The victory was all the more spectacular given Broomfield's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 26th, while Boulder are ranked first).

Broomfield's one-goal win came courtesy of Marin Kotschau, who's now up to four this season.

Broomfield now has a winning record of 4-3-2. As for Boulder, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Broomfield will host Rocky Mountain at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Boulder, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain Range at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain Range will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Boulder surely won't give up without a fight.
