Governor Mifflin had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Berks Catholic Saints on Wednesday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Governor Mifflin pushed their record up to 22-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Berks Catholic, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-7 record.

Governor Mifflin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berks Catholic, they will be playing at home against Littlestown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Thunderbolts' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Saints' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
